President’s Message

Our 2025 convention is in the books and by all accounts was a great success! We saw an increased number of new participants who took advantage of the many seminars and competition opportunities. Our Sport Show also saw increased interest as those who visited the show were able not only to see the excellent taxidermy work in our competition area but spend time with the many vendors on display at the Kovalchick Center. Our organization is blessed to once again have an excellent group of officers and board members who are already working hard to prepare for our upcoming show in 2026!

Please visit our website and our Review publication to be informed as information is released. It is not too early to begin thinking about competition pieces for our next show. The level of talent among our competitors is simply amazing. Each year we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to view some of the finest taxidermy work in the country. The written feedback our judges offer to those who compete is a tremendous learning experience.

Please take advantage of this special opportunity. Try to take advantage of our hands on summer workshops. These events are designed to be an exclusive member benefit and have proven to be of great help not only to new taxidermists but veterans as well. We are fortunate to have kind and generous taxidermists willing to share their talents and expertise with others for these learning opportunities. The fellowship at these events also makes for a special day!
